Great demo of Phillipine stick and empty hand techniques. This make me miss my early days in martial arts with my Phillipine teachers. Great men [Jose Deguzman and Armando Carandang] who inspired me to always be better. The Phillipine arts teach stick and knife techniques before teaching empty hand. Much of the stick technique translates to empty hand combat with destructions, trapping and locking. It is a very deep and rich art.
